on to DVD in time to tie-in to the upcoming feature film release of Dan
Brown’s “The Da Vinci Code”, the DVD release of the two-part documentary
“Dan Burstein’s Secrets Of
Angels, Demons & Masons” explores the relationship between Dan Brown’s
thrillers and contemporary folklore regarding the Roman Catholic Church, the
Illuminati, and Free Masons with interesting interview clips that include a 33rd
Degree Mason explaining for the general public what Masonry is about and
presenting interesting cases between what people perceive and what is true to
the brotherhood of Masons worldwide. It is pretty much old news that the
founding fathers of the United States were Free Masons, but outside of fact or
fiction, there is simply too much folklore out there to really know what is true
and what is not. It is interesting to see the amount of possible influence these
groups may have had on the world. More interesting in my opinion is the possible
persecution of the Illuminati by the Roman Catholic Church and some of the
scandals that have occurred and have been documented in newspapers as well as
served as possible background story information for inspiration in “The
Godfather Part III.”
The
documentary can be viewed in two separate parts or collectively and is presented
in a four by three standard television aspect ratio with English Stereo Sound.
The extra value features actually are additional parts that run an about 20
minutes collectively and explore the Dan Brown phenomenon, conspiracy theory,
fact or fiction questions, the making of the documentary, and a trailer. Quite
interesting indeed, “Dan Burstein’s Secrets Of Angels, Demons &
Masons” is available on DVD-Video now at retailers on and offline courtesy of
Koch Vision.
