September 8, 2007 - It has been a long time and I am sorry about that. I was away and I returned with a terrible infection that had me in bed for nearly a week. I was very ill so I did what I could and have been screening Universal Studios Home Entertainment's Heroes: Season One HD DVD set as well as the 2004 remake of Dawn Of The Dead on HD DVD and the Blu-ray Disc version of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. So review wise this should give you all an idea of what is coming. I absolutely love Heroes and think the HD DVD set is another feather in the cap of both Universal Studios Home Entertainment and the HD DVD group in general. It makes me wonder how future HD DVD TV sets like Battlestar Galactica: Season One and Paramount Home Entertainment's Star Trek: The Original Series: HD DVD And DVD Combo Format will look when they come out later this year.
The Blu-ray Disc camp has some heavy hitters coming soon too like Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment's Live Free Or Die Hard and both 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later coming out on top of some fantastic genre titles from Sony, Lionsgate, MGM, Buena Vista, and Starz. I will update the site soon with additional information, but for now I want to keep this short and get back to finishing up Heroes: Season One on HD DVD. I have moved my "On The Mark Updates For July & August Of 2007" to the Archived On The Mark Updates Page.
