In addition to the Historical Epics set, Warner Home Video has released three more volumes of Camp Classics DVD box sets under the themes Sci-Fi Thrillers, Women In Peril, and Terrorized Travelers. They are a mixed lot that definitely are a matter of personal taste, but generally Warner Home Video has treated each film with their standard level of quality that is among the very best in DVDs and some discs have more than just the film and a trailer. The Sci-Fi Thrillers Set includes feature length audio commentaries by Film Historian Tom Weaver on Attack Of The 50Ft. Woman and Queen Of Outer Space and Veteran Special Effects Creators Dennis Muren and Phil Tippett on The Giant Behemoth. With the exception of Peter Jackson’s special effects wizards at WETA, Industrial Light & Magic alumni Dennis Muren and Phil Tippett have the kind of name recognition that comes from working within George Lucas’ groundbreaking special effects warehouse with credits that would make any genre film fan’s mouth water. In fact the only person alive at the time of this writing whose name in special effects categorizes his work as a true grandmaster beyond the men noted above is the legendary Ray Harryhausen and his mentor, the great Willis O’Brian, who contributed to the effects for the radiated paleosaurus. O’Brian’s legendary work on the original King Kong inspired not only effects masters like Harryhausen, but renowned Writer Ray Bradbury and Filmmaker Peter Jackson among many others. The Giant Behemoth also includes a clear English Mono Soundtrack as well English Subtitles For The Deaf And Hearing Impaired, which in fact is a standard on all of the 12 films included in all four volumes of this series. French Subtitles are also included on all of the releases and Caged! Has Spanish Language Subtitles too.

The Sci-Fi Thrillers set also includes Attack Of The 50FT. Woman, which is legendary alone perhaps for the famous one-sheet art and was even remade decades later with Daryl Hannah in 1993. Queen Of Outer Space stars Zsa Zsa Gabor and is the only film in the Sci- Fi Thrillers set that is in color. Attack Of 50FT. Woman and The Giant Behemoth are presented in matted widescreen aspect ratios while Queen Of Outer Space is presented in a (2.35:1) anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio. Yvette Vickers joins Film Historian Tom Weaver on Attack Of The 50FT. Woman while Laurie Mitchell adds comments to Weaver’s track on Queen Of Outer Space.

The second and third volumes feature matted widescreen aspect ratio presentations on The Big Cube, TROG, Zero Hour!, and Hot Rods To Hell. Caged is presented in a (1.33:1) aspect ratio while Skyjacked is presented in an anamorphic widescreen (2.35:1) aspect ratio and is the only film to feature a Stereo Soundtrack. The rest have Mono Soundtracks. Warner Brothers Cult Camp Classics: Volumes 1 Through 3  – Sci-Fi Thrillers, Women In Peril, Terrorized Travelers are available on DVD-Video now at retailers on and offline courtesy of Warner Home Video.
