Three
friends attempt to meet the sweetest and most beautiful women to take to a high
school reunion to show up another rival and win a $50,000 bet that they can then
split three ways while showing their rival up. As the moment of truth draws
closer so does their desperation as the men turn to the Internet with bizarre
results.
You
know a comedy is pretty bad when the outtakes are funnier than the film. Despite
the best intentions, this comedy caters to the lowest common denominator and
results in a goofy exploitation flick that quite frankly might be more insulting
than funny.
The
picture quality is pretty lousy too with a full-framed (1.33:1) aspect ratio
that looks like it was transferred from videotape. There’s an average sounding
English Stereo Soundtrack with optional English Closed Captions and Spanish
Language Subtitles as options. There’s
ten-minute outtake reel and the menus feature full motion scene selections and
are easy to navigate.
If
you’re looking for a lowbrow comedy and have a strong stomach, “Chat Room”
is available on DVD-Video now from Artisan Home Entertainment.
