I
am not familiar with Chris Botti or his music so I do not feel it is fair to the
artist to pass judgment over his music so this is strictly a DVD review and not
a review of a recording artist in my humble opinion.
This concert was presented live at the El Rey Theater In Los Angeles on
December 3, 2001 and aired on DIRECTV.
Shawn
Colvin is featured on the Sting-penned “All Would Envy” and her original
“The Facts About Jimmy.” Sting performs “In The Wee Small Hours” and
“Moon Over Bourbon Street.” The complete track list includes:
“Miami
Overnight”
“Steps
Of Positano”
“Alone
In The City”
“Regroovable”
“Easter
Parade”
“Why
Not”
“Blue
Horizon”
Plus
the bonus DVD-Audio 5.1 Only Track “Through An Open Window”
Bonus features include videotaped interviews with Chris Botti, Sting, and Shawn Colvin, a video profile and biography on Chris Botti, and a Photo Gallery. Viewers and listeners will appreciate the outstanding sound and picture quality and have a choice of either English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound or PCM Stereo Sound.
Fans
