Cate
De Angelo (Mary-Louise Parker) is lifted out of her self imposed rut after her
sister plays “Cupid” and introduces her to Harry Dietrich (Peter Gallagher),
a witty, wise, and endearing man who brings a sense of joy to Cate’s life that
enables her to face the challenges she has been avoiding. Presented in the
(1.33:1) broadcast aspect ratio, the image is very detailed with only a fine
grain. The English Dolby Stereo Soundtrack has a nice almost surround quality to
it. English Closed Captions for the hearing impaired are encoded on to the DVD
as well.
Extra
features include a listing of the credits for cast and crew who produced this
film, onscreen production notes, and cast and filmmaker biographies. The menus
are standard interactive still frames that are easy to navigate.
“Cupid
& Cate: Hallmark Hall Of Fame: The DVD Series” is available now from
Artisan Family Home Entertainment.
