Much like the UMD for PSP release of “The Evil Dead” from Anchor Bay Entertainment, Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn” is a bare bones (no pun intended) UMD release with the film, which looks as though the transfer might have been struck from the same source used for last years “Evil Dead 2: Book Of The Dead 2: Special Edition: Divimax Series” and a great English Dolby Stereo Surround Soundtrack. There are no subtitle options or additional commentaries or even extra value features included on this disc. The UMD has a simple menu with scenes from the film and the sole option of play the film. For “Evil Dead” fans with a Sony PlayStation Portable however, I’d wager the chance to now have the first two films in the trilogy to watch on their PSP wherever they go is simply to “groovy” to pass up.
