What can I say about the new DVD from Warner Bros? How about ”Cool man!” The Justice League many remember is a team of superheroes brought together to fend off evil and to right wrongs wherever they may find it. Like the Warner Brothers various “Batman” series and the new “Superman” these cartoons carry a certain adult feel that a former super file like me can’t seem to resist. Sure to have you sitting down with the kiddies just to get your fill of this guilty pleasure. Well-done story lines and action make this collection exciting.

The disc is full frame (1.33:1) and contains 2 two-part episodes, which are “In The Blackest Night, Parts One & Two” and “The Enemy Below, Parts One & Two.” This time around the features give us a little bit more than the prior Warner releases.

Episode introductions the Producer/Director Bruce Timm are accessible through the features main menu or episodes menu. Each intro contains valuable historical 70's storyline info on the JLA as they pertain to the comics as well as character development. Each intro runs between (1:50) to 2-minutes in length, then there is a 4-minute documentary on the look of the league. Here Producer/Director Bruce Timm explains in greater detail the cartoon look vs. prior TV & comic incarnations of the characters.

Also there’s a game that is simple to play, but yields no reward where you’re given clues to guess who is who? My review is a B+. Why? Because how long are we going to have to wait before the next disc comes out?

Common Warner Bros, lets get moving and think season box sets!!!!!
