Uninspired
of the film noir erotic drama hybrids like “Body Heat” with Linda Fiorentino
as a woman who connives her wealthy physician husband (Bill Pullman) into making
illegal deals on prescription drugs and then runs away with the profit to a
small town where she seduces a naïve local (Peter Berg) into becoming the fall
guy for her husband’s murder.
Artisan
Home Entertainment is releasing “The Last Seduction” and it’s sequel
“The Last Seduction II” on to DVD-Video as budget titles sold separately.
“The Last Seduction” features an okay (1.33:1) aspect ratio presentation
with a digital stereo soundtrack and optional English Closed Captions for the
hearing impaired.
There
are no extra features. Not even a trailer. The interactive menus are standard
interactive still frame menus that are easy to navigate. Personally I think this
would have been a better value of both films were on one DVD as a double
feature.
“The
Last Seduction” and “The Last Seduction II” are now available on DVD-Video,
but sold separately for the suggested retail price of $14.98 each from Artisan
Home Entertainment.
