With
the DVD-Video debut of “The Lion King” coming this fall, Walt Disney Records
is releasing “The Lion King: DVD Read Along” so parents and their children
can share the magic on DVD complete with a condensed narrated still framed
version of the story (16:43) with English Language Subtitles and a choice of
English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish Language Dolby Stereo Soundtracks.
Using the audio or angle keys on the remote control, users can switch between
languages while watching the story as well as the songs, which also feature the
same style of moving still frames taken from the film. The read along songs
include “Circle Of Life” (3:58), “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King”
(2:50), and Hakuna Matata (3:31).
In
addition music videos for “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” (3:59), “Circle
Of Life” (4:49), and Hakuna Matata (3:41) are included. A vocabulary game, web
links, and a DVD-Video game are also included with five language options too.
Trailers for the IMAX theatrical release of “The Lion King,” “The Jungle
Book 2,” “Piglet’s Big Adventure,” “Lilo & Stitch,” “101
Dalmatians II: Patch’s London Adventure,” Disney Interactive’s
“Lilo & Stitch: Trouble In Paradise” CD-ROM, and Walt Disney
Records’ “Disney Mania” audio CD, “Disney’s Greatest: Volumes 1
