Former
Playboy Playmate of the month for July of 1996 Angel Boris stars as a Kat
Walker, a young woman who undergoes a life changing experience at a ski lodge,
where she finds work. At first she appears to have little in common with the
others at the lodge, but soon she finds herself interconnecting with passions
she never before explored. When an act of God traps her and the others at the
lodge, terrifying visions that evoke a past long repressed and a new beginning
in her life disturbs her. Ms. Borris has appeared in a number of genre films
that have aired on SCI FI that include “Boa Vs. Python” and “Dragon
Storm,” which was directed by Stephen Furst (Babylon 5).
Presented
in a 16 by 9 widescreen aspect ration, Light Year Entertainment’s DVD edition
of “Lost Lake” features an English Dolby Surround Soundtrack with English
Closed Captions for the hearing impaired and a feature length audio commentary
by Co-writer and Director Anthony Adams and Co-writer Christina Adams. The film
is a mixed sort at best that at times seems a bit unfocused. The interactive
menus are easy to navigate. As a nightcap popcorn film, “Lost Lake” should
fit the bill for those looking for something a bit different and titillating.
“Lost Lake” will debut on DVD-Video on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 courtesy of
Light Year Entertainment at retailers on and offline.
