This
documentary produced by The Discovery Channel covers the tragedy of September
11, 2002 from the point of view of the men of Rescue Station 3 in the Bronx, New
York and how the impact of the tragedy, which left widows and fatherless
children, has helped made the survivors grow closer not as coworkers, but as
family.
The
8 men who were dispatched from Rescue Station 3 in the Bronx, New York, were not
as fortunate as the group from Engine 7, Ladder 1 as dramatized in “9/11.”
This bleak, but thoughtful documentary gives a condensed, but straightforward
look at the post-9/11 plight of these heroic survivors. Artisan Family Home
Entertainment presents this Discover Channel Documentary in the (1.33:1)
broadcast aspect ratio with English Stereo Sound. The disc features a still
gallery as well. If this and other releases can bring some comfort to the
victims without exploiting them then so be it. It is available on DVD-Video now.
