This fall is getting to be very expensive indeed to quote a colleague at another popular website. Just as Anchor Bay Entertainment announces the November 5, 2002 release of "Highlander: The Complete First Season On DVD," the folks at the official site have announced "The Best Of Highlander: The TV Series," which in many ways sounds even better than the first season box set. "The Best Of Highlander: The TV Series" will feature episodes handpicked by the actors, writers, producers, and so on from the entire TV series and will include the pilot, which is the only episode of the entire series to feature Christopher Lambert and Adrian Paul together. All of the episodes will feature brand new Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Soundtracks and will be presented in the (1.33:1) aspect ratio of their original television broadcast. There are also a lot of extra features too. The set will debut on Tuesday, October 29, 2002 for just under $100 dollars and is only available via the official website. Click on the image below to preorder and read about all the extra features. I guess as far as "Highlander: The TV Series" on DVD is concerned there cannot only be one...
